Find Out More About the... Worship Arts Team

The Worship Arts Team at Gymea Baptist Church is a fun and engaging way to contribute to the life of our church, experience community, grow in discipleship and build God's kingdom.

While we strive to excel in creativity and excellence, you don't have to be musical, or even creative, to be a part of the W.A.T.!

We are looking for people to be involved in all sorts of ways to help create an engaging culture of worship in our church. Are you great at admin, copy writing, using a computer? These skills are just as important to our team as being able to play guitar or sing a melody!

We also want to know if you're 'artsy' in any way - can you paint? design a set? dance? act? take great photographs?
We believe that all of these skills (and more) can be used by God to encourage His people and help His kingdom spread across the earth. We want you to be a part of something big that God is doing through His people.

So, How do you get involved? Email Ryan Day (the Gymea Baptist Worship Co-ordinator) your expression of interest! (Even if you're not sure what you could do, we can talk and pray with you about where you could be involved!)

NOTE: Many of these roles INCLUDE "on the job" training that takes place over a number of weeks or months.

Other roles (such as playing in the band) have a simple sign-up and audition process.

Most roles on the W.A.T involve a serving commitment of once or twice a month, although this can be modified to suit your needs and availability in most cases.

So, if you're interested in finding out more information, don't hesitate to contact us now so we can find a place for you to serve within our church community.

We look forward to welcoming you to the W.A.T. and seeing you grow in your gifts and discipleship!

God bless,

 Ryan Day
